HAMMIN' IT UP WITH BLOG HOG HAMILTON

Well, Tabby, I hate to be be a "boar," but I just have to add that pigs have won PATSY awards, too.  An American Yorkshire pig won two Best Actor awards in 1965 and 1966 for the role of Arnold Ziffel on the TV show Green Acres!  In fact, the trainer was Frank Inn, who was also Orangey's trainer.  It took 48 real Yorkshire pigs and one animatronic pig to make the movie Babe, which also won a PATSY award!  Here's a link to an episode on Green Acres entitled I Didn't Raise my Pig to be a Solider: VideoMr. and Mrs. Ziffel treat Arnold as the son they never had!  Isn't he cute in the picture below with his birthday hat?

Now that I've squealed on Tabby, I'll teach you how to speak "Pig Latin."  See how smart we are, we have our own language!

For all words that begin with a vowel (a-e-i-o-u), add the syllable "way" to the end of the word.  Example:  Eat = Eatway.  Over = Overway.

For words that begin with a consonant, move the first letter of the word and add it to the end and add "ay" after the consonant.  Example:  Man = Anmay.  Cat = Atcay.  Ice cream = Iceway reamcay (trickier because you use the vowel and consonant rules)

EESAY OUYAY EXTNAY EEKWAY, EVERYONEWAY!
